What application would you like to see next?

Jun 19, 2009

We have come most of the “30 days” way. It’s getting harder and harder to find new application ideas.

What application would you like to see next? An application should be cool, utilize unique Android capabilities and simple enough to accomplish in a day.

BTW, you can hire me from July 1.

    Not really app idea but using a service would be great, similarly an app using an intent.

    Great series btw, thank you.

    How about “download an html file and display it locally” with an android application… Fairly simple but utilizes some significant features:

    http request
    saving files locally
    using webkit

    Can we please have an app which clarifies the use of themes and styles?

    The API Demos having so many things makes it a bit confusing to keep track of which class does what.
Thanks for the tuts

    you could code a simple maps application. Show how to add overlays, long press events, setup/modify radius around a geopoint …
    thanks in advance .

    Where are days 19 – 23?

    Can’t start the ball rolling withing going through with it!

    If you’ve run out of ideas, use the iPhone 30 days example as a guide. Besides being a good example to follow it provides a “Rosetta stone” of comparison. That could be useful to many folks.
