Day 07: Mobile Altimeter

An altimeter is an instrument used to measure the altitude of an object above a fixed level. Mobile Altimeter utilize GPS to get altutide.

Hi There,
I installed the .apk on my phone and it ran, but just stayed on the “wait…” screen, with the gps icon flashing. It never gave an altitude reading.

you are entirely correct — I had placed the G1 near a window where I thought it had received a GPS signal. When I took it outside, it worked perfectly.
